XXX 15 Esker Eagle hunter Sagsai, Bayan Ulgii Province, Mongolia 2017

Jimmy Nelson

  • 120 x 100 cm
  • Fotografie in oplage
  • Archival print
Jimmy recalls first meeting Esker in 2011 when he was a young boy. Now he has become a young man.

When we asked him what he thinks about visitors like us coming to meet him, he replied, “People who come to visit give me the chance to meet people from all over the world. You must first see the people before judging their religions and traditions. Everyone on this earth is equal. It is very important that you visit us, because our traditions are unique and we must cherish them.

We want other people to know about us. You capture a culture that may no longer exist in the future.”
