Through our unique art lease concept you can take Robbert Fortgens (or other famous artists’) paintings home for only three per cent of the value of the artwork. You earn two percent for a subsequent purchase of an artwork of your choice. Art Lease is an interesting option for both companies and individuals.Realistic paintingRobbert Fortgens is an Amsterdam artist who paints since a very young age. He was trained at the Rietveld Academy, where he became acquainted with various painting techniques and the fine art masters. After this learning period Fortgens started his independent career, choosing realistic painting as a starting point.Expressionist paintingIn the eighties Robbert Fortgens, the realistic fine art painter, left realism to devote himself to expressionism. Since then his work has clearly two contrasting visions. The photographic realism, where the emphasis is on the exact viewing of the visual motifs, and on the other side the abstract expressionism. The artist spent a long time in southern countries, his palette was then invaded by warm colors. There he met realism in photography through his encounters with the local people, towns and landscapes. This experience engraved all this impressions in his work. His successful career as an abstract artist came to life when Robbert Fortgens in 1992 presented a series of diary paintings.Expressive compositionsThe inspiration for the abstract artworks comes from his surroundings and stories of his life. Using a brush, he paints expressive compositions, built with wide painted surfaces and brushstrokes. They are no views of the reality, but they are impressions of his daily existence.Exciting, interesting combinationsDespite all the success he achieved with his abstract work, Robbert Fortgens started in 2008 to become absorbed in linking paintings with photography. This change results in exciting and interesting compositions. The thick brushstrokes are sleek and shiny on the linen, while the photos get a pictorial dimension through the use of oil paint on the photos. The combination of these materials and techniques enabled Robbert Fortgens to create the strong images AbrahamArt brings to you. His artistic language and the subjects he chooses highlight his unchanging vision and complex sensitivity, though his representations of the fashionable female figure, use of particular colour combinations and lacquering, and series featuring subjects with minimal variation have led him to be inaccurately labelled as a Pop artist.Though Grassi chooses subjects who are delicate and attractive, these female figures are also energetic and resolute. Their representation in bright and fashionable colours echoes the Pop Art genre, but the subjects themselves are outside the confines of that artistic category. In his most recent works, Grassi has abandoned the element that was once his trademark style and technique: the decisive brushstrokes which outlined his anatomic forms and lent a sense of stability to the whole of the figure, and contrasted with bold colours blended with spatula and drippings to break them down and make them more subtle. His recent subjects display less certainty, which once allowed the figures to integrate themselves fully with the complex weave of colors. Today, the background against which they are represented is more decisive and reflects the subjects' facial expressions and intense silence, creating a complicity with the observer. You can use our flexible art lease concept. Art lease is interesting for both individuals and companies.DreamsAs a child Bram Reijnders never considered a career as a painter. How Bram Reijnders ended up in art is an intriguing anecdote. "I had a dream, I had to go abroad, to a tropical place, where I would find a new life. In the next morning I canceled my appointments, went to Schiphol Airport and bought a ticket to Rio de Janeiro." Once in Brazil he fell in love with a painting. When he came back to buy it, it was gone. " I was physically ill for two days. A form of love grief. Then I thought: Hey, art can really do something."AbrahamArtBram Reijnders decided to live in Brazil, where he started buying art to sell in the Netherlands. At that moment he also started painting himself. After a tv interview his works were immediately sold. Since he was not yet ready for a full-time artist life, he founded AbrahamArt gallery. For 11 years he came in contact with various artists and as a gallery owner he has travelled the world countless times in order to learn about art markets. Meanwhile he conquered spectacular success being represented in art fairs all over the world such as in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Stockholm. His work is also represented by galleries in Los Angeles, Miami, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Singapore and Paris.Reality with fiction"In a world where we are chased by advertising slogans, political promises, media hypes and self-promotion on social media, I regularly ask: 'What is true?'. If we would believe all messages around us, we would arrive in a surreal universe that usually looks better than it is”. In its recent series Bram Reijnders gives voice to the spirit of the time (zeitgeist) mixing reality with fiction. "I show this universe through tempting women that catch your attention with extravagant poses, slogans and shiny elements. By mixing it with cartoons I picture my society ironic passion for the contemporary world of which I am a product."The works of Bram Reijnders are available for sale and rent (art lease)AbrahamArt offers the possibility to buy or to rent artworks through art lease from Bram Reijnders and various other artists. He writes stories and illustrates them with drawings. It is clearly someone who loves variety and an organic dynamism. This is also evident from the many courses he has followed, but of which he has never completed one. This artist wants it his own way, his inventive spirit and out-of-the-box thinking enables the power in his works. This freedom of movement thought him the “art of looking”. "Often people look, but they cannot see the essence. There is so much to discover in art: light, layers, dimensions, emotions. It can broaden your horizons enormously." The artist himself is genuinely moved by what he sees. This emotion is to be found in his work that often consists of multimedia projects, where photography, painting and digital techniques unite. His photography - with the female beauty as loved theme – remember us of stills from classic movies. It is up to the viewer to unfold the story behind the images. The atmosphere is dreamy, mysterious and has a strong sensual undertone, but the women are never portrayed as lust object. On the contrary, they have a strong, self-conscious and independent appeal. The subtle use of color and the precise control of black and white or sepia photos emphasize this. It gives his work elegance and glamour that we know from the atmosphere of cities such as Chicago, Paris and Berlin in the '20s and '30s. Like his father, he wanted to be a painter. When he came into contact with sculpturing, he was so impressed that he decided to stop painting to fully concentrate on three-dimensional works. Europe was for a long time the most important market for this artist, but his work becomes more and more represented in galleries and art fairs in the United States and Asia. Here you can view all the sculptures of Jesus Curia and ask for a trial placement, or come and admire them at AbrahamArt Gallery, the most complete art gallery in the Netherlands.Joy and vitalityThe ones who get the chance to take a look in the Jesus Curia’s studio will see an extremely quiet and focused artist. Through the way in which the artist Jesus Curiá uses colors he reveals the final results of his efforts to bring joy and vitality to life. He also uses bronze, wood, stone, resin and cement in his work. The inspiration for his art resonates the artist’s strong interest in non-European cultures. Through a detailed look at diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, he makes in his own words an aesthetic statement. His ideal image is one of that all races will move toward each other and blend in a single global race.Manipulation of limbsThe most spectacular feature in the work of Jesus Curiá Perez is the way he manipulates and extends limbs on almost abnormal ways. He also replaces areas of the bodies with geometric forms. "For me the creation of a new work of art is a challenge, and I am open to all kinds of decisions to reach the optimum outcome of the artwork. If I have to do something to prolong, destroy, to replace, change or to add items, then I have no fear to do that" declares the artist.Enjoy the creationAccording to the artist, sculptors have two moments of pleasure in their work. "The first and most joyful is when I have finished a work and enjoy the creation for a few minutes. The second is when I see people enjoying my work." At sixteenth, Charlotte started her studies at the St. Joost Art Academy in Breda. She followed then further training at the Academy of Art in Tilburg. There she also attended lessons from her father, the famous painter Nico Molenkamp. After the end of her studies she found a part-time job as a drawing and art history teacher in Oisterwijk which could combine easily with to the development of her own work.Exhibitions and art fairsIn her first years Charlotte Molenkamp worked especially with gouaches, since oil paint was too expensive. Soon afterwards she won a painting competition and got a solo show in the theater of Tilburg. Years later Charlotte bought together with her husband Ad the Roij a historic monumental villa at the Koningshoeven in Tilburg where she also has her studio. Soon after that she decided to, besides making gouaches, also to work with oil on canvas. The artist has over the years developed further her remarkable style and has become known as one of the most prominent artists in the Netherlands with annual solo exhibitions at various galleries. Charlotte is also represented in many national and international art fairs.Abstract figurativeCharlotte Molenkamp is known for her unique style of painting in which the oil paint generously covers the canvas in many generous layers. She has taught herself to work two-handed and handles the brush in her left hand and the spatula in her right. Charlotte paints in abstract figurative style, often flowers but also human figures and faces. Charlotte masters the art of making a great first impression with her work, balancing painting on canvas in a way which never makes her fans – being Jeroen Krabbé one of them – tired. His work is shown in galleries in Brazil, England, Germany, France and the Netherlands and belongs to both private and corporate collections all over the world.Experiment with techniquesAs a great admirer of artists like Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt and Antoni Tapies. This admiration keeps Dario seeking for original techniques. Dario devotes days and nights to experiment with texture and colour searching for new effects to incorporate in his unique works.Looking for harmonyDario Bosa is a true poet on canvas, who always searches for the harmony of shape, color, matter and technique. The quality of his composition keeps a balance in this inexhaustible quest for beauty. Dario knows how to make the sultry heat and the rhythm of the Brazilian street life almost tangible in his paintings.Powerful colors and shapesDario Bosa mastered multiple styles. Mo became in a short time a successful artist and her work is represented in art fairs and galleries worldwide.Works of Mo Cornelisse are for sale and for rent through art lease at AbrahamArt. These works are at AbrahamArt both for sale and rent. The unique art lease concept enables you to have your favorite artist in your home for a low monthly fee. You save a part of the amount of the rent for a subsequent purchase of a artwork of your choice. Art Lease is an interesting option for both companies and individuals.Natural TalentSebastião, without father or money for school, has been working hard since 8 years old. Thanks to his perseverance and natural talent Rodrigues went on and on. After showing a drawing to a teacher he was told to be a painter. "When I understood what a painter actually was, I never doubted", says SR Rodrigues. Although he faced difficulties in his choice he has always been sure that that was the right path to follow. Since then SR Rodrigues has been producing artworks and exhibiting in galleries in the United States, Japan, Europe and Brazil.Cartographer of himselfIn the moment that SR Rodrigues started painting he discovered his real soul. He is a cartographer of himself. In his paintings, he uses beautiful earthy colors, in combination with different geometric forms, such as circles and rectangles. SR Rodrigues is always very dedicated to his quest to find the correct structure, the perfect balance and the most beautiful composition. "I want to transfer an emotion through abstraction an interaction with the viewer. My work has a strong soul and I want to create a "wow feeling" in the viewer, says the passionate artist who has an almost addictive relationship with his work. The positive attitude, has an inspiring force on him. "Without optimism, I cannot create anything new."Music loverSR Rodrigues lives and works in both Portugal and Brazil. The largest part of  time in his studio. He cannot work without music. "I always have music turned on. Sometimes I listen to Bossa Nova, but it can also be heavy metal or The Beatles", reveals the artist. Once he starts, he does not know when to stop. "I have all the time at my disposal and I enjoy it in my creative process." He has almost no sleep and will rarely get a night rest of full eight hours. "An artist must be as a juggler. There is so much to do, but there is only a limited amount of time and space to make it happen."Inspiring heroesSR Rodrigues feels when a work is finished. "Alberto da Veiga Guignard once said that in his mind was a bell which tolled when the work was done”. I addition to Brazilian famous artist Guignard, Sebastião adds the American artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Julian Schnabel to his heroes list. But the artist who has made the greatest impression on Sebastião, is the Catalan painter and sculptor Antoni Tàpies. He remembers the first contact with the works of Tápies. "When I saw a work of Tàpies. It seemed like I had found a precious treasure."AbrahamArt offers a large collection of artworks from SR Rodrigues. These works are available both for sale as for rent. By the unique art lease concept AbrahamArt enables you to have your favorite artist in your home for a low monthly fee. You earn a part of the amount of the rent for a subsequent purchase of an artwork of your choice. Art Lease is an interesting option for both companies and individuals.Connecting woodRik Davids studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. After graduating he started to create art objects with blocks of wood and staples. This way he created vases and other spatial objects. Since the beginning of Davids' career he has used demolition wood, after colored. Rik Davids is represented in the Netherlands, Italy and Japan.Visible constructionRik Davids has been crafting demolition wood shells throughout hos entire career. The format is still the same but the colors, wood types and compositions are different depending on the type of demolition wood. So all shells are unique. In all works of Rik Davids the structure in which the boards are connected with staples is visible.Painting and designRik’s painted shells are unique artworks. The technique used lies between painting and design. On one hand Rik Davids uses a form that we know from the crafts. On the other hand, he adds painting to it bringing his language closer to the fine arts. This object is then placed on the wall as a painting. The physical presence of his work brings a strong visual effect. The viewer to embraceRik Davids currently works in even larger scales. He wants to challenge the round form further. The greater the scale the more his work embraces the viewer and absorbs us in an impressive way. The work is not only visually present. The sound also plays a role. The sound is reflected by the curved structure and you hear an echo. Davids is constantly looking for new ways of interaction with the viewer. From an early age, he wanted to escape from his native village and the inevitable life that was reserved for him. By focusing on a broad development, his enthusiasm, discipline and the passion for painting made Sebastião Rodrigues in the years that followed a very successful artist in Brazil. You can feel the passion in the details of his work but also in the way in which he approaches his it.Each work is built as a delicate game of surprising contrasts, color and figurative images that seem to want to liberate themselves by diving in the form of abstract shapes. Sebastião Rodrigues' technical qualities are remarkable, but creativity and an optimistic view on life are the main driving forces in his creative process.Sebastião Rodrigues believes in humankind. In his works he portryas human ideals as beauty, love and truth in a sensitive manner. All of his works he brings them to life. The people in his works are ideal creatures that he creates to inspire us with a mind-boggling optimism. The degree of expressiveness which he and his ideals and emotions translates, can only come from a man who makes his own life and possibilities in a very careful and conscientious perspective. Day in day out Sebastião Rodrigues keeps on the path that he chose a long time ago bringing beauty to life in his work.Art from BrazilArt from Brazil is hot.
